Dear Dance Family:
Congratulations on a successful dance experience this weekend. You all won this weekend, and you do not need an award to prove that. Each one of you made huge strides during the Extravaganza. Please remember that a different judge may have chosen a completely different group of dancers to receive their award. Dance is subjective and you all shined so bright this weekend… nothing can take that away from you! :). There is no such thing as failure in dance, only lessons that allow you to grow into the next version of yourself. I lost more than I won growing up as a young dancer, and I wouldn’t ask for a different experience. It made me resilient, strong and humble… characteristics I tap into daily to lead the Exhale team and all my students. I love you all soooooo much and you should be very proud of your performance this weekend!
Dancers went home with their solo, duet and small group costumes this weekend. You are to hold onto those costumes for the remainder of the season. Please keep them in a safe place and it will be your responsibility to bring them back and forth to upcoming shows and competitions.
