Saturday and Friday

Hello EDYI Families:

I am slightly altering the schedule on Friday and will not be holding the solo/small group rehearsal. The schedule will be as follows:

4:00-5:00: EDYI Purple Modern
5:00-6:30: Entire Team (including Cora and Emma H. :)) for Discovery Day
Everyone leaves at 6:30 and Solo/Small Group rehearsal (also known as specialty rehearsal) is not held.

On Saturday, dancers will also be invited to participate in Connor’s Walk before Discovery Day. Here is an itinerary for the day:

1:30pm: If you are walking with the team arrive at the federated church parking lot. Look for Andrea, as she will be the point person for the dancers just before the walk. Click HERE to make a donation and learn more about the event. (This is to raise money for a college fund in Connor Reilly’s name. Mr. Reilly is The HOD art teacher and his son, Connor, passed away a little over a year ago. It is a very special cause!)

2:00pm: Walk begins

2:45ish: We all meet at Town Hill to kick off Discovery Day and dance

3:00-3:30ish: Exhale Performs

“WHAT TO WEAR”

• Current EDYI Team Leotard
• Sparkle Skirt (These will be distributed on Friday)
• Tan Tights (Please wear tights that were used for Recital and/or Nationals)
• Tan Jazz Shoes (Must be Performance Quality!)
• Light stage make up
• Hair in a clean, performance bun
• If it’s cold wear your team jacket and a pair of warm pants for the walk and to arrive at the event.
• Food and beverages will be available for purchase. (credit card and venmo will be available)
