HAUNTED TRAIN RIDE

WHEN: Saturday, October 19th

WHERE: Holmes Field, 22 Myrtle St. Norfolk

“WHAT TO WEAR”: This year, we would like all of our dancers to express their individuality by wearing their own Halloween Costume. Please be sure that the Costume is “danceable”, and does not inhibit any movement (masks should be avoided). Also, please do not bring any props associated with the costume with you on the day of the Haunted Train Ride.

“WHAT TO BRING”: Dancers should arrive in their Halloween Costume, with their Jazz Shoes ONLY. Water and snacks will be provided onsite.

PLEASE NOTE: Every Dancer will receive a FREE Ticket for the Haunted Train Ride. However, Parents and Siblings will need to purchase a Ticket to Ride. Furthermore, in the interest of public safety and crowd control, the viewing area for the performance will be reserved specifically for patrons of the Train Ride.  There will not be an area reserved for Exhale.  Please plan accordingly!

SCHEDULE FOR THE EVENT

• 4:15 pm: Dancer Drop Off at Holmes Field. Please proceed to the area by the “port-a-potties”, where you will be greeted by a Norfolk Lions Volunteer or a EDYI Faculty/EPA Member. Dancers will then be escorted to the Volunteer Check-In table, and to the Performance area.
• 5:00 – 7:00 pm: Dancers will perform a number of times, entertaining the Patrons who are waiting to board the Haunted Train Ride. There will be breaks between performances. Water and small snacks will be provided. Any necessary “bathroom” breaks will be supervised by an EDYI Faculty or EPA member.
• 7:00 – 7:30 pm: EDYI Dancers ride the Haunted Train
• 7:30 pm: Dancers will be escorted back to the Volunteer Check-In Table and available for pickup.
