Hello everyone,
We’re so excited to see your performances tomorrow for the International Dance Day Event at the Walpole Public Library!
Due to unforeseen weather changes, we will no longer be able to hold the event outdoors. Instead, the event will take place inside the Walpole Public Library’s Community Room—the large space to the left as you enter the library. The stage area is approximately 13 ft by 25 ft, and the floor is carpeted. While we regret this last-minute change, we’re thrilled that the show will go on!
Please plan to arrive by 1:30 PM (unless you’ve already arranged a different arrival time with us). This will give you a chance to get familiar with the performance space and ensure everything is set before we begin.
As a reminder, we will hand off the mic to a member of your group to briefly introduce your performance—sharing a bit about your culture, dance style, or anything else you’d like the audience to know. If you previously indicated you’d prefer us to handle the introduction and provided us with dance style descriptions, don’t worry as we’ve got it covered.
We’ll also be taking a group photo of all performers and volunteers at the end of the event to celebrate everyone’s hard work—please try to stay if you’re able!
Feel free to invite friends and family to attend and enjoy the show. Audience seating will take place from 1:30–2:00 PM, and we’ll begin promptly at 2:00 PM.
