IMPORTANT DATES FOR NOVEMBER

Friday 11/7,11/14,11/21: Nutcracker Run Through 5:00-7:30 (all EDYI)

Tuesday 11/11: Veteran’s Day Rehearsal 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (all EDYI)

Saturday 11/22: Nutcracker Dress Rehearsal (10:45 am-3:45 pm)

Sunday 11/23: Nutcracker Performance at Walpole Middle School

Monday 11/24-Sat 11/29: Studio closed for Thanksgiving Break

Sunday 11/30: Norfolk Santa Parade/Tree Lighting 🎄

TEAM LEOTARD UPDATE

We have decided this year that instead of team leotards, dancers will receive a team tank top and leggings! Team tank tops will be worn at outdoor community performances, and can also be worn at dance competitions! Team tank tops and leggings will be ordered after the Nutcracker:)

RED TEAM/HIP HOP WINTER COATS🧣

For both the opening and closing number of the Nutcracker this year, all dancers in EDYI hip hop and red team will need to bring in their own winter coat to portray townspeople outside in the winter!

❄️Costume Details:

• All dancers on red team and EDYI hip hop will need to bring their own winter coat.

• Coats can be any color, but should not be longer than knee-length to allow for full movement and visibility.

• If you’re unsure whether your dancer’s coat is suitable, feel free to bring it to class to check with Miss Melissa.

• EDYI dancers:

• Please bring your own black leggings

• Wear plain black sneakers for hip hop

NUTCRACKER RUN THROUGH TUES 11/11

With only 3 weeks left until the Nutcracker, we are adding an extra special rehearsal for all members of EDYI on Tuesday 11/11 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (no school on Veterans Day)

We are so excited to see the whole show come to life🤩

NUTCRACKER DRESS REHEARSAL/SHOW

Below is the information for dress rehearsal for The Nutcracker. We will be doing a full show run through with costumes.

WHEN: Saturday November 22nd

WHERE: Walpole Middle School – 625 Washington St, East Walpole MA, 02032

10:30-3:45: EDYI will be dropped off at 10:30 and picked up at 3:45. They will know in advance which costume to arrive in and they must bring all other costumes and dance shoes.

NUTCRACKER PERFORMANCE

WHEN: SUNDAY NOVEMBER 23RD

12:15– EDYI Drop-off. 1:00pm show begins 
How: Students should arrive in their costume with hair/make-up done.  For students in multiple dances a show list will be provided, so they know which costume to arrive in.  Make sure to bring all other costume pieces and dance shoes.
