IMPORTANT DATES FOR NOVEMBER

Saturday 11/22: Nutcracker Dress Rehearsal (10:45 am-3:45 pm)

Sunday 11/23: Nutcracker Performance at Walpole Middle School

Monday 11/24-Sat 11/29: Studio closed for Thanksgiving Break

Sunday 11/30: Norfolk Santa Parade/Tree Lighting 🎄

NUTCRACKER PREP CHECKLIST

• HAIR: Please have your dancer’s hair in a “performance” bun. NO foam ‘doughnuts”. Please…and Thank You! **Please bring plenty of extra Bobby pins and hairspray!
• COSTUMES: Costumes will be sent home with the dancers after class on Wednesday. **Costumes must be steamed! If you do not have a steamer, hang them in the bathroom during a steamy shower! **Dancers should bring extra safety pins
• NUDE LEOTARDS: Dancers must wear their nude leotards underneath their costumes for dress rehearsal and the show. Remember, no undergarments should be worn!
• MAKE UP: Please have your dancer arrive in “performance” make up.
• TIGHTS: Exhale will be providing a new pair of pink tights for the performance.
• SHOES: Please be sure that ALL shoes are “performance” quality! All dancers must have ballet shoes that are clean with no holes!
• HIP HOP: EDYI HIP HOP dancers should bring their winter coats to class on Thursday to practice! **Please bring black socks that cover ankles!
• COSTUME RACKS: Dancers should bring their own racks to hang their costumes on (just like competition).
• EARRINGS: All Dancers will be wearing their Team earrings for the Performance. Dancers who did not attend Nationals will be receiving a pair this week. NUTCRACKER DRESS REHEARSAL/SHOW

Below is the information for dress rehearsal for The Nutcracker. We will be doing a full show run through with costumes.

WHEN: Saturday November 22nd

WHERE: Walpole Middle School – 625 Washington St, East Walpole MA, 02032

10:30-3:45: EDYI will be dropped off at 10:30 and picked up at 3:45. They will know in advance which costume to arrive in and they must bring all other costumes and dance shoes.

NUTCRACKER PERFORMANCE

WHEN: SUNDAY NOVEMBER 23RD

12:15– EDYI Drop-off. 1:00pm show begins 
How: Students should arrive in their costume with hair/make-up done.  For students in multiple dances a show list will be provided, so they know which costume to arrive in.  Make sure to bring all other costume pieces and dance shoes.  

NO REHEARSAL FRI 11/21

We have decided to give the dancers the night off next Friday 11/21. Saturday will be a long day and we want to make sure everyone is rested and ready for the busy weekend ahead!🎄
