Good morning families! We are SO excited for this special weekend full of dancing, learning and growing! Here are some important reminders about the weekend:
FRIDAY – MASTER CLASSES WITH THELMA GOLDBERG
4:00 – Dancers arrive for master class wearing black leotard, any colored clean tights, black shorts. Dancers should wear hair in a neat bun and bring all dance shoes. Dancers may bring a small healthy snack and plenty of water
7:00 – Parents arrive for tap history presentation with Thelma Goldberg!
SATURDAY – PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP!
**Saturday class assistants have the morning off and there is no pointe!!
11:45 – Dancers arrive in full makeup and hair (low slick bun, middle part), wearing team earrings
**DANCERS SHOULD WEAR IN THIS ORDER: nude leotard, old tan tights (save new performance tights for competition) black team shorts, all dance shoes, costumes, headpieces and accessories should be brought!!
**All dancers will need footed and stirrup tan tights for performances!
**ALL TEAMS – tan Jazz shoes
**RED TEAM – BLACK AND TAN JAZZ SHOES
**DANCERS WILL NOT HAVE TIME TO LEAVE TO GO TO ANNE’S MARKET SO PLAN ACCORDINGLY! Dancers should bring plenty of water and healthy snacks for the day!!!
6:15 – PARENTS ARRIVE TO STUDIO
6:20 – DANCERS PERFORM “SONDER”
6:30 – DANCERS PERFORM “ROCK LOBSTER”
6:40 – AWARDS PRESENTATION WITH THELMA!
7:30 – RECEPTION AT SUNSHINE TOMATO PIZZERIA IN NORFOLK!
