Good evening EDYI families!
As we are only two and half weeks away from out EDYI intensive August 10th-14th, I wanted to get an exact number of Blue team members who are planning on attending so I can plan accordingly:) If your dancer is on Blue Team, please email Melissa, edc@exhaledance.com to confirm whether or not your dancer will be attending!
I also wanted to post some reminders about EDYI dress code/apparel for the year! For the summer, dancers are still able to wear their Exhale class attire from the previous year, until they are able to purchase new clothing/shoes. Hair must be in a secure bun that will not fall out during class!
All dancers will need new shoes/clothing for EDYI and everything can be purchased from Dancers Drawer in North Attleboro (41 N Washington St, North Attleboro, MA 02760). There is a 10% off discount for all Exhale students! Here is a list of everything and the store should also have the list on hand:
BLUE TEAM:
Black leotard (any style)
Pink tights
Black Dance shorts (worn for jazz and tap)
Capezio Hanami ballet shoes – light pink
Tap On Leather Tap Shoes – tan
Capezio EJ2 slip on jazz shoes – tan
Apparel for all other teams remains the same with the exception of Purple team tap shoes – we will be upgrading to a slightly more mature shoe for the dancer’s growing feet that will emphasize their rhythms and better support their movement! More information on specific style of shoes for purple team will be sent out soon!
