YEAR 10 – A LOOK AHEAD

Good morning families! As we officially kick off Year 10 in just a little over a week, we wanted to share some clarity around team placements and our vision for the season ahead.

All dancers will remain on the same team they danced with last year for the upcoming season. After Nationals, Technique Tuesdays, and our summer intensive, we had the opportunity to watch the dancers in a variety of settings and really see how each group worked together. What we saw made us incredibly excited about the potential of these teams.

We know that the beginning of a new season can bring lots of questions and anticipation around placements. We wanted to take our time, observe the dancers, and fully solidify our plans before making an official announcement. After doing that, we truly believe that keeping these groups together is the best decision for the year ahead.

There is so much we want to build upon with each team. We have very exciting choreography ideas that will challenge every group, highlight their individual strengths, and allow them to shine all together as teams. Keeping dancers on the same team does not by any means mean keeping them in the same place. Our goal is to continue pushing each dancer technically, artistically, and as a performer while helping them grow together as a team.

One of the things we love most about these groups is the chemistry and camaraderie they have developed. They know one another, support one another, and have shared so many experiences together. We believe there is tremendous value in continuing to build on those relationships rather than making changes simply for the sake of change.

We also want to remind our dancers that a team placement does not define their talent or potential. Every dancer has opportunities to grow, and we are committed to challenging each individual in meaningful ways throughout the season.

Year 10 is a special milestone for our studio, and we have so many big things planned! We are excited to celebrate how far these dancers have come while also pushing them toward everything they are capable of becoming.

We are incredibly proud of every dancer and genuinely believe this is going to be our best year yet. We cannot wait to see what these teams create together and watch them shine on stage!
