Dear Parents and Dancers,
Just a quick reminder about this Saturday’s Performance at the Norfolk Lions “No One Fights Alone” Halloween Costume Walk.
Parents, the walk is currently low enrolled. The Lions (including Miss Melissa’s Dad!) have worked so hard and want to raise as much money as possible for pediatric cancer patients in our community. If you can afford it, they are asking for just $5 for each walker. (Exhale has made a donation, but every little bit helps!). You can also just send your dancer with $5 tomorrow morning and they can register when they arrive.
PLEASE NOTE: All regularly scheduled EDYI Classes and Nutcracker Rehearsals WILL be held on this day.

Norfolk Lions “No One Fights Alone” Halloween Costume Walk
WHEN: Saturday, October 26th
WHERE: Federated Church (1 Union St. Norfolk)
“WHAT TO WEAR”: As opposed to the HTR, we request that ALL EDYI Dancers dress in a Halloween Costume. (Yes, we would like all the dancers in a Halloween costume tomorrow… even if it is just a creative, homemade costume!). Please be sure that the Costume is “danceable”, and does not inhibit their movement (masks should be avoided). Also, please do not bring any props associated with the Costume with you on the day of the Walk.
SCHEDULE FOR THE EVENT:
- 8:30 am: Dancers arrive at the Federated Church for Check-In
- 9:00 am: Walk Begins
- 9:30 am: EDYI Dancers Perform
Performance should be complete, and dancers will be available for pickup at 10:00 am
