Norfolk Lions Santa Parade
WHEN: Sunday December 1st
WHAT TO WEAR:
- Current EDYI Team Jacket with a “warm” layer underneath. The current forecast calls for sunny conditions, with temperatures in the mid 30’s. Please strategize layers accordingly!
- Black Leggings
- Sneakers (Dancers will wear sneakers to march in the Parade, and when performing)
- Hair in “performance” bun
- A “holiday”, or “festive” seasonal hat.
AGENDA FOR DAY:
- 2:30 PM: All EDYI Dancers will meet at Hillcrest Village by the Meeting Center/Function Room. Dancers will assist Santa’s Elves with visiting residents and passing out cookies. Parents: You are welcome to park at the Freemen-Kennedy School, or you can simply drop off your Dancer(s) at Hillcrest at 2:30.
- 3:15 PM: Dancers will assemble to march in the Parade
- 3:30 PM: Parade begins. Dancers will march from Hillcrest, along Rockwood Rd., and end at the Library.
- 4:00 PM: Dancers will perform on Town Hill as part of the Tree Lighting Ceremony
- 4:30 PM: End of Day (Time approximate)
